How many pavilions are on the property?
There are 6 pavilions located on the 75 acre hillside property - each
pavilion is designed for just one couple with approx. 50 metres separating
each from the next, privacy was a primary consideration in the design.
Are all pavilions identical?
Yes, apart from interior colour differences. All
pavilions have the same layout, furnishings, amenities and similar
uninterupted views each facing East.
Can I request a pavilion?
We do not guarantee requests for a particular pavilion
when booking at Internet Special or discounted rates, as the only
way we are able to offer specials & discounts is if we have flexibility
to move guests between pavilions to maximise occupancy. Standard Rate
bookings (Direct Only) are allowed to request a particular pavilion
at time of booking, subject to availability.
Is the access road to your property sealed?
Only 1.5km along Fuss Road is unsealded but generally
in good condition. Internal roads on the property are not sealed but
are in good condition.
Do you cater for special dietary needs?
Yes. Please let us know about your dietary requirements
when making your booking and we will be happy to provide an appropriate
breakfast selection.
What is the difference between the Internet
Special & Standard Rates?
Internet Special rates are our online discounted
rate which often change depending on the day of the week or time of
year. This Internet Special rate includes breakfast provisions sufficent
for 2 mornings and a mid-stay service if staying 5 nights or longer.
Our Standard Rate differs in that the pavilion will be serviced every
2nd day and breakfast provisions replenished for the duration of your
stay.
What is the check-in procedure?
Guests receive a SMS text message to their mobile
phone the evening prior to arrival with access codes to the property
& allocated pavilion. If you do not have a mobile phone then please
call us on 1800 990 055 within 24hrs of arrival. Check-in is from
3 pm and check-out at 11 am. If you have any queries when you arrive,
the information office has a telephone available 24/7 so that you
may get in touch with us or one of our representatives.
Do you accept 1 night bookings?
We prefer 2 night booking however we understand
it is not always possible to get away for 2 or more nights so we do
accept 1 night bookings midweek. Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
are strictly a 2 night minimum stay.
Is the accommodation quiet?
You should find Barossa Pavilions a very tranquil
and quiet place to stay. Because of the distance between each pavilion
and size of the property noise pollution is generally not an issue.
You should however be mindful that it is also a working farm and surrounded
by other farms and a winery. We endeavor to keep farm noise to a minimum
but are not in control of our neighbours - that being said they are
quite a distance from the pavilions.

phone coverage?
A telephone is available at the information office
24/7 for local calls. We do not have telephones in the pavilions nor
is there any internet access on the property at present (we are hoping
to have this facility in the not too distant future). Mobile phone
coverage on the property is good from most service providers.
Are the pavilions non-smoking?
Yes. Smoking is not permitted inside the pavilions.
You may smoke on the outside decking however we ask that you be careful
to extinguish your butts fully in the ashtray provided and also ensure
windows/doors facing the deck are closed to avoid smoke drifting inside
the pavilion. If evidence of smoking inside a pavilion is found an
additional cleaning/airing charge of $300 will be applicable.
What should we bring with us?

to make your stay comfortable however apart from your personal items
and clothes you may also like to bring your favourite music on CD
or Ipod. We do provide a selection of movies & magazines for your
entertainment.

Yes. Lyndoch is just a few minutes away and has
a supermarket along with an excellent bakery and butcher.
Do you cater for children?
Unfortunately not. Barossa Pavilions is designed
to be a tranquil couples retreat and therefore is not suitable for
children. Warning: Certain design features and furnishings in each
pavilion make them an unsafe environment for babies.
Can we bring our pets?
Unfortunately not. Barossa Pavilions is not only
a tranquil retreat but also a working farm with stock and often visiting
kangaroos therefore pets would not be suitable however, Guide Dogs
are the exception and are welcome at any time. Why not treat your
dog or cat to a break also, with a stay at 'Barossa Bed & Biscuit'
- we highly recommend it, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels stay
there often. Contact us for their details.
